Women Empowerment

For 60 years the contraceptive pills and hormonal injections dominated the birth control market in rich countries, but are presently seeing an overall decline in the contraceptive products market. Some women especially millennials age group have become uncomfortable with putting synthetic hormones in their bodies. The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared artificial hormones as a steroid, and therefore a carcinogen.

A large-scale longitudinal study published in 2015 in the journal JAMA Psychiatry, part of American Medical Association networks, suggests hormonal contraception could cause depression. The study analyzed the one million women study for 14 years in Denmark that confirmed hormonal contraception could cause depression. The pill's instruction for use in the box list various risks and side effects, from Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)-like to decreased libido, migraine, an increased risk of breast cancer and blood clots.

The decrease in the use of contraceptive pills and hormonal injections is a shift in preferences among Canadian women as new alternatives such as estrogen-free and non-hormonal methods, IUD's and fertility tracking apps become available on the market. This trend follows women's growing emphasis on natural health. Using OvuGuard, a safe and health risk-free fertility monitor empowers women to control their bodies and fertility.

Hardware + Software + Cloud

In the invention pipeline of Creatology Corporation are medical devices and wearable technology in design and development stages, some with working prototypes. Most will be connected and aware in 5G networks. The Internet of Things (IoT) in healthcare being developed by our hardware and software Engineers are web-enabled devices that collect, send and act on data using embedded sensors, processors and communication hardware sent to the cloud's Family & Lifestyle Planner.
